Spectacular views of The Millennium Dome enveloped by shimmering towers of one-way glass provide an aesthetical backdrop for diners at Rocket, Canary Wharf.
A short totter from the labyrinth of the Canary Wharf DLR station, the latest venture of the continental food chain Rocket announces itself with neon fairy lights suspended above the Thames. Postmodernism reigns supreme as the traditional rules of restaurant décor are toe-punted over the horizon.
Expect Perspex and lots of it. Perspex chairs, light fittings and tables decked out with ramekins of marinated olives and candles that gaze from the floor-to-ceiling window panes onto the nerve centre of the financial district of London. Framed prints of 18th century paintings curve through the spine of this restaurant and lead toward the whitewashes walls of the kitchen. The mishmash of cultural nostalgia and spaceage design somehow moulds together to give the dining area a sense of cohesion not too dissimilar from stepping into an extremely affluent student’s room. and raucous crowds on the terrace.

The Cotton Factory
Daisychain Inns opened their brand new £2.5m flagship venue in a converted Grade II listed building in the heart of Huddersfield. The much acclaimed venue will raise the standard of bars on offer in the area.
A year in the making, the team at Space designed every aspect of The Cotton Factory and have created a fresh new look for bar interiors. The 10,000 sq.ft. venue consists of four individually designed bars that include an opulent member’s lounge and a late night bar which will host leading dj’s.
The design scheme flows from bar to bar with an eclectic mix of 60’s opulence, retro and traditional styles. Design features include a traditional bar counter with decorative pewter bar top with chandeliers above, set against a backdrop of the original listed brick wall.
Original designer furniture has been imported from Italy, Sweden and Finland. Wallpapers and other finishes have been sourced from America and around the globe. The toilets are a big talking point themselves with one block decorated in wallpaper designed by the king of retro, Karim Rashid.
"the interior of The Cotton Factory is stylish... ...Even the toilets are the sort of place you would quite like to be seen in..." Metro Life
"(Space) Design has once again lived up to their reputation..."
"The team is responsible for all aspects of the design and there are lots of quality touches throughout." CLASS magazine

Light Bar at St Martins lane, London
Light Bar is a bar which is designed to create a colourful environment and funky with images of face expression on the ceiling, colourful lighting system.
The new bar system at the Light Bar was designed to maximise the profits of a busy bar through improved efficiency and increased storage space.
The Hotel & Bar Management at St Martins Lane were becoming increasingly frustrated by a service bar which looked great, but behind the scenes, was a difficult working environment and was causing problems with hygiene and storage.
A successful project has led to future work with Morgans Hotel Group.
